PLEASE join us in celebrating our August D4D Spotlight Ms. Brittany Sweet. Brittany is a vibrant, 23yr old young lady with Down Syndrome. She is a social butterfly that enjoys spending time with her family. Brittany is highly independent and full of personality. She is very talented and loves entertaining. Brittany enjoys singing, dancing, swimming, riding her bike, going to concerts (New Edition)and being the center of attention. Brittany loves the internet. She is computer savvy and enjoys surfing the web, watching movies, playing games and listening to music online. She performs in Special Needs Praise and Worship services in Richmond,VA to showcase her talent and love for singing. Brittany is loved and supported by many and to know her is to love her!
Brittany is currently attending New Horizons Supported Employment program. In the program, she will gain skills that will prepare her for transition into the professional working community. Through the many milestones and accomplishments, Brittany Sweet has no limitations. She has definitely defeated the odds and expectations of society and health care professionals.
